Sustainability
We acknowledge our responsibility to conduct our business activities as sustainably as possible. It is a continuous journey and every step, no matter how small, counts.

Our Way of Working

Free from nasties
A large part of our endeavours is aimed at making the components of all our products more environmentally friendly.
The effects of microplastics on the environment are widely known. These microscopic particles end up in bodies of water, where they can bind pollutants that then become part of our food chain. With this in mind, we decided in 2021 to formulate all our antiperspirants without microplastics with immediate effect.
Microplastic-free formulations are therefore our contribution to reducing water pollution.

More sustainable through local sourcing.
We are continuously working to make our procurement practices more sustainable. This includes collaborating with manufacturers based in Germany. Short distances between our partners help reduce transport-related emissions while ensuring a high standard of quality—a strategy that has proven valuable in light of current supply chain challenges.
Additionally, when selecting new manufacturers, we ensure that both primary and secondary packaging are made from mono-materials to guarantee recyclability.

Enhancing sustainability through digitalisation.
A responsible approach to resources is our top priority in everything we do.
This includes the efficient use of energy. For example, our Karlsruhe office and all our servers run exclusively on electricity from renewable sources. As true digital natives, we work and communicate almost entirely digitally. Even though our team is spread across eight locations in Germany, this means (almost) no commuting and significantly fewer emissions.
Since 2021, our only company car has been a hybrid.

Our Packaging
Sustainability through efficiency.
Sustainable production is not just about what’s inside the product but also how it is packaged. That’s why we are also focused on improving our packaging solutions.
When developing and designing new products, we strive to use as little material as necessary without compromising the functionality of the packaging. For our Sweat-Off Sensitive Foam, we reduced the size of the secondary packaging by 11% in 2022. While the primary packaging remains the same size, the folding box is now more compact, making it more resource-efficient.
In 2023, we optimized the packaging concept for the Sweat-Off Stick. As a result, we save 19% of cardboard in the folding box and a whole 42% of plastic in the primary packaging. Additionally, the primary packaging is now made from a highly recyclable mono-material.
In 2020, we said goodbye to printed leaflets. Instead, all Sweat-Off folding boxes now include a QR code that can be scanned to access the application instructions.
This change saves us over 90 kilos of paper each year.
It is our top priority that ordered products reach our customers safely and intact, without generating unnecessary packaging waste. That’s why we’ve improved the cushioning material in our shipping packaging by replacing the previously included bubble wrap with a recyclable paper insert. This change alone has allowed us to save an average of 25 kilos of plastic packaging per year.
Additionally, our shipping packaging is now fully recyclable and made from FSC-certified materials.
Not only the careful use of resources but also environmentally friendly disposal contributes to sustainability. Find out how you can do your part in our article: How to Dispose of Sweat-Off Products Correctly.
We avoid the use of microplastics, synthetic dyes, and listed preservatives.
Our vision
More sustainable through continuous improvement
These improvements are just the beginning of our journey toward sustainable change. We are continuously striving to operate more sustainably.
In line with resource efficiency, we are constantly refining our packaging solutions to offer the same quantity in more efficient packaging.
Regular quality control of our ingredients is also an integral part of our continuous improvement. We develop our formulas based on the latest scientific findings, always following the principle: as little as possible, as much as necessary.
